German AR company Sensape becomes a member of the Chilean Chamber of Foreign Trade.

Market entry of one of the leading augmented reality and artificial intelligence companies "Sensape" in Chile.

The German company Sensape becomes a member of the Chamber of Foreign Trade (AHK) Chile and enters the Chilean market with Augmented Reality (AR) technologies. Sensape develops interactive solutions for an innovative customer approach in marketing and has already been able to implement several projects in Latin America. As a member of AHK Chile, the company receives support for its market entry.

"After several successful projects in Latin America, we would like to bring even more AR-based projects to Chile. We see Chile as an innovation-friendly country and would like to support retailers in particular with our solutions in making the customer approach even more interesting," says Michael Lehnert of Sensape. Most recently, the company equipped so-called smart totems in an Ecuadorian pedestrian zone with its technology to digitize the urban zone. The integrated artificial intelligence recognizes the age, gender and emotions of passers-by for the display of appropriate advertising in real time. In addition, SENSAPE's technology "Phantagram", a photo world with AR elements such as hats or sunglasses, will be used, allowing passers-by to select individual elements by gestures and take pictures of themselves with them. The next project planned is virtual queues for 30 pharmacy branches in Ecuador to improve customer service and avoid queues. Smart totems will also stand in front of the stores, displaying personalized advertisements and reducing waiting time with AR photo filters. Artificial Intelligence, which can show appropriate content based on external characteristics, features in all of Sensape's solutions, making it possible, for example, with product sampling without staff or a photo with an idol. Sensape is now aiming to expand international projects and, as one of around 650 member companies, is looking forward to the start in Chile. Together with AHK Chile, a webinar on the topic of "Augmented Reality" is planned soon.
