The festival and live industry has been hit hard by the pandemic, making a strong network all the more important for its continued existence. To mark the occasion, the Future Of Festivals was held for the first time in Berlin on November 26 and 27, and is considered the largest industry gathering in this field. The agency for artificial intelligence and augmented reality Sensape from Leipzig was partner of the event and presented new technologies for guidance systems and personal visitor approach on site.
Sensape has been developing artificial intelligence for six years, which recognizes up to twelve external characteristics of visitors and reacts appropriately to them in real time.
"There are so many great concepts for infection control, sustainability or even cashless pay to discover at Future Of Festivals. We are of course very happy to be there with our intelligent solutions," Michael Lehnert, Commercial Director of Sensape, tells us at the company's booth. With its recognition technology, Sensape makes it possible to address visitors personally, recommending a suitable product, for example. However, the technology is used in many different areas. In public facilities such as libraries, it points out in a friendly manner if the mouth-nose protection is not being worn correctly, enables people to stand in virtual queues, shoots photo-realistic selfies with soccer stars or automatically dispenses product samples. The latter could be experienced up close at the Future Of Festivals, in addition to the intelligent product recommendation. The project shown for the Swiss beverage manufacturer Rivella consists of a vending machine with integrated AR display and was used at Swiss train stations to automatically distribute product samples via gesture recognition. SENSAPE's technologies offer an additional digital program at festivals and work contactlessly yet personally. "With our intelligent technology, we want to create a more personal experience for all festival visitors and are pleased to be a partner of the Future Of Festival!", says Lehnert.
